Example for an ERP Module: Marketing Module
The Marketing Module as an integral part of an ERP system supports the employee
with creating contacts up to coordination of complex marketing campaigns and after-
sales-services. Client data are essential data to gain relevant information suitable
for efficient marketing planning and distribution activities (Hesseler, 2009, p. 37).
Typical simple business processes within a company dealing with customers are:
creation of a new contact
editing of an existing contact
deleting a contact
