ERP System in Practical use: QuinniPro
The Kinderwunschzentrum Goldenes Kreuz in Vienna is an in-vitro-fertility clinic
situated in the 9
th
district of Vienna. It is a private institute targeting patients with the
desire to have children. Due to the fact that there is a lot of patient data (including
medical history, prescriptions, and medical treatment cycles) to administer, they
needed to come up with a solution to handle this huge amount of data in a
comprehensive way. In 2010 the company decided not to implement a standardized
ERP solution, but a completely new one, customized to the specific needs. Together
with Quinnisoft Consulting GmbH an integrated IT-solution called “Quinni Pro” has
been developed and introduced.

The Kinderwunschzentrum Goldenes Kreuz consists of two offices located in
different buildings. One office comprises all administrative departments such as
Finance, Marketing, or Customer Support, while the other office is located directly
in the hospital. The latter one accommodates facilities like labs, treatment rooms, or
relaxation rooms. Thus the direct contact with patients takes place in the so-called
medical headquarter.
