The Ö-Cloud Quality Seal
If a provider of cloud services in Austria carries the Ö-Cloud quality seal, this means it has committed to observing strict, transparent, international security standards and especially the GDPR.
Existing and future customers of such providers therefore enjoy the certainty
- that the provider has successfully completed the Ö-Cloud self-assessment process covering 135 criteria relating to provider transparency, security, data centre operation, operative processes, applications like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, contractual terms, and compliance with the GDPR.
- that the provider’s information is published on the EuroCloud website, thereby making the information for every listed cloud service transparent and downloadable at any time,
- that the one-year validity of the Ö-Cloud quality seal means the provider must successfully complete the self-assessment process each year.
The Ö-Cloud quality seal is issued by EuroCloud Austria with support by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs (BMDW) vergeben.
